Pecan Pie

  • 2 cups chopped pecans

  • 5 eggs

  • ½ cup sugar

  • ½ cup brown sugar

  • ¾ cup Karo syrup

  • 1 Tbsp Bourbon

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • 1 tsp melted butter

  • 2 dashes of cinnamon

Preheat oven to 325°F. Combine all ingredients thoroughly except pecans. Evenly spread pecans into the bottom of a raw deep-dish pie crust. Pour liquid on top of pecans. Bake for one hour or until golden brown and crowned over the edge of the crust.

Yield: 8 servings
